With "store and forward technology", all of your messages are stored on the Barracuda Spam Firewall and then forwarded to your mail server. If your mail server is unreachable or is experiencing a temporary disruption, the Barracuda will hold on to all of your messages for up to 48 hours or until your mail server comes back online and is ready to accept delivery.
